Because he is in the same alignment as Pastor Matt Swope, I also wanted to share the following books as supplementals that have helped me:
"How to Read the Bible As If Your Life Depended On It" by Michael Youssef
"Empowered by Praise" Michael Youssef
"The Daily Way: 365 Daily Devotions" Michael Youssef
You can get them from his website or from Amazon.com. I hope this helps.

My husband Matt and I just joined the church. The Icon I am using is my dog Stanley. He is 133 pounds and a German Shepherd/American Pitbul mix. At first he could only lift and drop the log because of its weight. It took him a week but when I came home from work, he could not wait to show me what he could do and he ran the length of the yard with his new 'stick.' He usually has to scold it first but whatever that dog is determined to do, he usually does.

O LORD I pray as I enter into this day
Use me up and show me the way
For I know you have plans that I do not know
But O my LORD for you will I go
I will go where you want me to and
I will do all that you ask me to

A word the LORD gave me at work this morning on 12-9-2025 9:00 am
We are being called to the battlelines to stand tall and true for the enemy we are facing is trying to push on through. So stand ready to fight with your full armor on and stay constantly in prayer. CHRIST is with us and will always be there to help us carry on no matter how hard it gets. I know that somedays we all face seem so bad and that we cant take much more but ALWAYS remember that our end reward will be worth it all! So keep spreading HIS WORD and doing what we are all called to do GO & TELL. So NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER BACK DOWN AND NEVER GIVE THE ENEMY BACK THE GROUND THEY HAVE TAKEN FOR FAR TO LONG!. We are on the verge of something very BIGβ¦
